While working as Lecturer and subsequently Reader in Ophthalmology and Consultant in IOL, Anterior Segment and Glaucoma at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai, was associated with teaching of postgraduates (MS, Diploma / Dip.N.B / FRCO) students and Fellows in IOL and Anterior Segment Microsurgery

As a part of community outreach programme, attended many screening eye camps and 8 cataract / IOL surgery camps conducted in the States of Tamilnadu, Kerala and Maharashtra (Ganeshpuri) by the Aravind Eye Hospital
Participated as a surgeon in a three day Phaco camp at Raigarh, November 12th to 15th 2004 and performed 125 cases of Phacoemulsification
Participated as a surgeon in a three day Phaco camp at Raigarh, March 10th to 12th 2002 and performed 80 cases of Phacoemulsification
Participated as a surgeon in a three day Phaco camp at Raigarh, March 11th to 13th 2003 and performed 125 cases of Phacoemulsification
Participated as a surgeon in a three day Phaco camp at Raigarh, March 8th to 10th 2005 and performed 150 cases of Phacoemulsification
